These are made in the UK and then powder coated in our own workshop here in England.
What is it for?
For use with either disused (redundant) or live solid fuel (wood, coal, and oil) systems, the Conetop Birdguard can be a great option. If you have a problem with large birds or squirrels trying to make a cosy home in your chimney then the Conetop Birdguard is an excellent defence. With its very sturdy steel construction they will be frustrated in their efforts and move on to pastures, or even rooftops new, leaving your chimney alone.
What sizes & options are available?
A Conetop Birdguard will fit onto a round chimney pot with dimensions between 150mm & 250mm (6” to 10”).
The Conetop Birdguard is powder coated in either terracotta, buff or black.
How do I fit one?
Once up on the roof - the sprung unit is firmly grasped with two hands and popped carefully into a round chimney pot to give a very secure fit. Some fitters find the use of a rope or similar helpful when it comes to fitting because these items are made of very strong steel.
What if it won't fit?
We are sorry but Conetop Birdguards are only available in one size. However, please take a look at our Brewer Birdguard range for more options that may be able to better suit your needs. Alternatively call or email us for advice.
** Please note, chimney pots are not included.
We advise that your chimney or flue is inspected and swept by a qualified chimney sweep before fitting a chimney cowl or terminal. We also recommend using a professional to specify the correct product for your fuel, chimney system, size and needs. If you require any help or advice please call us on 01243 539639.
We cannot take responsibility for any terminal or cowl that has not been specified or fitted by a professional and is not suitable for your application.
