We make and powder coat these Chimney Cappers in our own factory here in England.
What is it for?
If you have a chimney that you are not using at all - otherwise known as redundant or dead - a Chimney Capper will save you a host of chimney problems in the future. By stopping virtually all rain entry, it will assist in prolonging the life of the chimney. By frustrating birds and squirrels who are looking for a new home, the chimney stays clean and sound with the nominal ventilation included in the design.
What sizes & options are available?
A square Chimney Capper will fit onto a square chimney pot with an internal measurement of 150mm to 250mm (6" to 10").
The Chimney Capper is made from aluminium and is available in natural (unpainted), or powder coated terracotta, buff or black.
How do I fit one?
Once up on the roof, it is the work of a few minutes to attach the Chimney Capper using the stainless steel strap provided. Simply mold the legs to the profile of the pot, tighten up the strap and bend the legs back around to hold the Capper in place.
Instructions are included.
What if it won't fit?
As manufacturers in the UK, we also make Round Chimney Cappers, and different sizes to order. Stainless steel and sleeve versions can also be made. Just give us a ring or email us for details and prices. We can normally have a special unit delivered to you within 10 working days of your order.
